Although most young people are never parted from their mobile phones these days it is important to think through the issues regarding safety of both the phone and the student. |

MOBILE PHONES These phones are a great help to a young persons independence and safety, be it being able to summon help or that taxi, as well as stay in touch with home. "Top-ups" on their phones if they use "Pay As You Go Schemes" or contributions to the phone bill are always a great gift and often encourage that long awaited call home. Most young people nowadays have mobile phones and are fairly shrewd about keeping them safe. However now may not be the best time to get the most desirable upgrade and giving someone temptation to steal it. |
